Op 25 oktober 2024 promoveerde Thomas Zoon aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam op het proefschrift getiteld ‘Apathy as a syndrome: focus on Parkinson’s disease and deep brain stimulation’. Het onderzoek werd verricht onder supervisie van promotoren prof. dr. R.M.A. de Bie en prof. dr. D.A.J.P. Denys, en copromotoren dr. G. van Rooijen en dr. P. van den Munckhof. In dit artikel worden de belangrijkste bevindingen besproken.
